Well, really all I have to say is that I'm truly sick of being absent from the art world.

For the longest time I dreamed of being a concept artist or something similar, but I know that I probably can't get to the skill level needed before I get out of school to be able to follow that dream, I started to late, >.>.


Well, I decided for a bit to stop, worst decision of my life, or near it, and now I'm back full blast.


I guess you can say the hours put into practice were probably the most peaceful hours I've had these last few years, and now I've decided to put more than I ever have before into becoming a better artist.

I've posted the first step to that already, expanding my abilities to more than just organic models, particularly people. And with this I'm going to go back to my roots and find what made me start, which I have done.

The starting point (which is really easy to tell if you look through my gallery) was the realism that the artist and creators of Ghost in the Shell captured, yet they used only a few lines in the simplified style, but still, they managed to show all of that detail. That is the style I'm hunting for, and that is the style I will achieve.

To be honest, everything else I had going on my life sort of failed, went away, or was just a tease, and art is about the only thing I'm moderately good at anymore, so why not expand on what comes to me most naturally (besides numbers)!
